KDT Industry continues to expand its global presence with a recent business trip to Gambia, where the company reviewed existing facilities and secured new agreements for strategic industrial projects. The primary purpose of this visit was to inspect fuel storage and cement plant facilities, ensuring compliance with international standards and identifying opportunities for future upgrades.
Expanding in West Africa
The business trip to Gambia was part of KDT Industry’s commitment to broaden its partnerships across West Africa. Our team met with local investors, government officials, and industry leaders, presenting the company’s expertise in steel construction, turnkey industrial plants, and energy infrastructure.
During the visit, KDT Industry engineers carried out technical inspections of fuel storage tanks and cement plants, confirming performance, safety, and capacity standards, while also evaluating modernization needs.

Cold Storage and Food Industry Facilities
Alongside inspections, one of the key focus areas in Gambia is the development of modern cold room and storage facilities.
This project will:
- Enhance Gambia’s food security and logistics capacity,
- Provide international-standard facilities for agriculture and fisheries sectors,
- Integrate energy-efficient and sustainable cold storage technologies.

Oil and LPG Storage Tanks
KDT Industry also signed preliminary agreements to support Gambia’s energy infrastructure with oil and LPG storage tanks.
These facilities will:
- Strengthen national energy storage capacity,
- Ensure safety through ASME and API-compliant tanks,
- Provide scalable infrastructure for future demand.
Cement Plant Projects
As part of the visit, KDT Industry conducted detailed assessments of cement plant facilities in Gambia.
Our evaluations focused on:
- Increasing efficiency in clinker and cement production,
- Upgrading steel structures and auxiliary systems,
- Implementing sustainable technologies to reduce environmental impact.
These inspections will guide future EPC agreements aimed at modernizing Gambia’s cement production capacity.
Turnkey Industrial Projects
Beyond inspections and energy projects, KDT Industry is preparing to deliver a broader range of turnkey industrial projects in Gambia, including:
- Flour mills and grain silos for food processing,
- Steel structures for commercial and industrial use,
- Process plants for refining and manufacturing.
Building the Future Together
The Gambia trip represents another step in KDT Industry’s mission to be a globally recognized EPC company. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and reliability, the inspections and agreements reached in Gambia will not only benefit the country’s infrastructure but also reinforce KDT Industry’s position as a trusted partner in Africa and beyond.
